AAI was tasked with creating the complete gift set line that would complement Johnson's core products. Our role was to design, develop, commercialize, and deliver all gift set packaging and peripheral components, including the 2-in-1 spout cover & bubble bath maker.
3D Glasses
Regal Entertainment Group requested our help in re-working their 3D glasses to be higher quality, longer lasting, and more visually appealing. In just a few months, we identified design changes to accomplish all these metrics while driving costs down.

After test marketing and other testing procedures, we completely redefined the glasses and the methods used to manufacture them – all in under a year. Surpassing client expectations, we were able to reduce waste from discarded and damaged glasses by 33%. AAI currently produces 1-2 million of these glasses per year.

Our solution reached much further than a mere gift with purchase program, we also produce and consolidate the paper shelf displays, plastic vac trays, and paper hangs tags. Shipping this program fully assembled as a single unit reduced client costs and touch points, making it a huge turn-key success for over a decade.
Entertainment Access Glasses Lens
In partnership with Sony Digital Cinema, AAI assisted with the exciting initiative to bring 3D movies to the hearing and/or visually impaired. Sony Digital Cinema Access Glasses give the hearing impaired an enjoyable cinema experience by projecting text across the bottom of their visual field without distracting other customers. These glasses also provide a solution for visually impaired individuals with audio tracks describing the movie in detail.

As 3D films became increasingly popular, Sony needed to find a user-friendly adaptation for their glasses. The solution was a 3D lens attachment that is easily clipped onto the glasses. AAI is proud to have worked with Sony on this effort to bring entertainment to a wider audience.
Petco came to AAI in a rebranding effort to unify the look of their eight private labels. Our engineering and marketing teams joined forces to design coordinated packaging for all 200 products in the most cost effective way.
Good Lovin' Packaging Redesign
AAI was responsible for determining the type of packaging, sizes, labels, and writing all specifications for the client’s network of suppliers. Reducing various package sizes down to ten zip-seal bags allowed for high volume production, passing huge savings on to our client.
Peepers UV Eye Protection
For over a decade, AAI has designed and manufactured Australian Gold’s UV protective eyewear for tanning beds. As an FDA Class 1 Medical Device, this product requires AAI to work with the FDA and numerous testing laboratories to ensure compliance with industry requirements.

One of their most successful promotions is called “The Gift of Membership.” This is a renewable one-year Gold Star membership that comes with the reusable shopping bag AAI produces.
